Found it in a damp basement. It's been sitting for a decade. Should it be good to try and crank it or should I run away? No visible rust except for on the drive shaft, muffler and outside of the gas tank. Everything else looks rust free.

pull the carb off and go through it, the gas will be powder and you don't want to push that through. same with the tank, jelly or powder in there so drop and flush it, evaluate before filling it with 20 gals and burning down the neighborhood. fuel pump will be suspect also.

Check the soft brake lines as well(calipers, rear axle, etc.).  Belts are always a good idea also.  Good luck!Big smile
