The plastic ones.
Any difference between them or all they all pretty much one manufacturer?
Seeing prices from less than $100 to almost double.
Thanks,
Russ

I am not sure if they are all made by one manufacturer or not. I had one for a bit until I found a decent dash pad.  I think mine was from 1AAuto.  It was decent quality, almost indistinguishable from a read dash pad.

I have seen these aftermarket ones up close in person. They are not actual replacement dash pads, but dash pad covers that mount on top of your existing dash pad. Mostly are from the same manufacturer. I saw one on a Ranchero at a show this summer, the guy showed me that it was raised about an inch from the metal board between the dash and the windshield (the name of this part is escaping me).

Other than that, it looked pretty much the same as stock. In fact, I wouldn't have even noticed the 1" raised pad if the car owner hadn't pointed it out to me!

I, however, opted to have my original dash pad restored by Just Dashes (www.justdashes.com). From my knowledge, they're the only ones that do it. And it isn't cheap, but my dash pad was so warped and cracked that a dash cover wouldn't even sit over it nicely. So had to bite the bullet and pay these guys to get it done. Be advised they need about 3-4 month lead time. I sent mine back in early June, and they only started working on it this month. When the time comes for them to start working on it, they'll email you to wire them money via your bank account and routing number to avoid additional fees if you opt to pay with credit card. As soon as they receive payment, they start the work.

Thanks.
I am talking about the plastic ones. Rusty had one that looked really good except for the crack.
Having the pad redone is not in the budget for this car anytime soon.

You KNOW you need to cover it with Zebra-stripe shag carpeting.

somebody put one on a dash that i ended up with here in northern IL

it was warped twisted bubbled bent & blistered from chicago sun

good luck with that in AZ! LOL

best budget dash treatment i've seen is speaker box covering, but even that will likely fade quickly

another cool treatment i've seen is
