Hello, I have a 1972 GTS, Q code 351C, automatic, yellow with laser stripes, that has been in my family since 1973. I drove the car for my drivers license test in 1976 (easy on the gas pedal!). After too many years sitting in my garage and collecting parts to get it going again, I am finally having it restored. I have looked at this site for info and greatly appreciate those members who know a lot more than me about Torinos and are willing to share. Thanks!

Welcome John!  That's cool that you've had the car for so long in your family!  There is a lot of information and they are a lot of helpful people here that can help you with your resto project.

I have upgraded you to a full member, so you have full site access.  Upload and post some pics when you have a chance.

That is a very cool story!

So you took your drivers test in the car, now you can take your mechanics test in it! And we all get to help!

Can't wait to see pics of your laser GTS!

Welcome aboard!

Sorry to be so long to post an update. The restoration is coming along nicely with the folks at American Street Dreams doing a great job. Quarter panels are on now. They have  been posting photos on their Facebook page as work progresses.
