Hello all! I have visited this site multiple times over the last couple of years and decided tonight to go ahead and register.
Currently I am in the middle of a body-off restification of my 72 Ranchero. I have owned this car since 1973, it was my first car. I bought it from my dad, who bought it new. It was originally a 250 6 cylinder 3-on-the-tree. It’s going to go back together with a 351C running CHI 3V heads, a mass air multi- port EFI fuel system and a 4R75W. The car has been apart for longer than I want to admit, but it’s been making pretty good progress since I semi-retired 3 years ago. We are just finishing the bodywork up this week and it goes to paint in a couple of weeks. I don’t know who’s happier about that, my wife or me. I was a Field Service Engineer for Ford for 35 years when I retired 3 years ago. I worked with dealers in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa during my years at Ford. That, along with multiple week-long trips to Dearborn every year, involved a lot of travel. That’s the excuse I have for this thing being apart as long as it’s been. I’ll try to post a couple of pictures soon.

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you have a great project. A 351C with EFI and CHI 3V heads backed by a 4R75W will make once sweet machine.
I have upgraded you to a full member so you have full site access now. You can upload pics and there is a how to post if you need help. We would love to see some pics of your Ranchero, some vintage pics would be cool too.

Thanks you for the offer on the trim pieces, I'm always open for more trim parts! Sorry for the delay in responding, we have been getting it painted for the last couple of weeks and now we're starting on the cut and polish.
