The wipers are not working - looking for ideas.  Below is what I tried thus far:

-Turn on wipers and check power at harness motor connector (red/lack) - no voltage
-Unplug switch harness behind dash, and test with an old switch of unknown status (no joy - actually worse as this switch will not even operate pump, as original does).

This leads me to ask if anyone has suggestions for debug, and where can I get a wiring harness diagram?

Radio dead too? Same fuse (#6) as wiper & b/u lights.  Maybe check that.  If fuse good, not too sure, maybe radio short (?).  If you can get it power, make sure it has a good ground to the brass ribbon.  The motor is grounded via mounting bolts.  I had mine off to paint it and didn't work after re-installation, even though I thought I had wire brushed the contact areas for that mounting screw pretty good.  I ended up putting on a large washer to contact the ribbon and it now works.  Don't notice it too much unless looking for it.

Below is a page from the 1969 wiring diagram.  Hopefully you can zoom in on.  If not, PM me e-mail and I can send to you.  Said file was too large to attach.  Good luck in troubleshooting.

schufitz,

Thanks for details.

The fuse must be good then becasue the radio powers on but will not tune in any station - just static (even on Accessory).

I sent email for diagram as it looks like I may be able to ohm out the switch off the pic.

Solved.

It was a ground problem as David suggested.  I ran a small ground wire similar to him - now wipers work.

Will check antenna soon.
