No, the 460 wasn't offered in the Torino until mid-way through 1973 (full year for Police cars).  The 1968-69 Torinos had no 385 series engines, just small block Fords and FE engines.  The 385 series big blocks weren't introduced to the Torino until 1970 and then only as the 429.

idk? you have to measure the widest part of the exhaust manifolds vs the inside of the strut towers! 71's had a 429 but idk if 70/71 are wider??? i know a guy that put a 460 in a 65 falcon and it was close, very close!

not sure if heidts makes a mustang II kit?  but if so then something like that will allow you to remove the strut towers giving you tons more room Big smile

They will fit 68-69 using the 70-71 mounts, brackets, etc. Also might try 71-73 "Fat" Mustang mounts and brackets.
I don't think that the 66-67 is much different. 66-69 Falcon is a stubby Fairlane, chassis-wise, as are 67-70 Mustang.
Exhaust might take some looking, but headers were available for these swaps "Back in the day".
