Hello forum...my 70 Cyclone needs complete new interior. I have bought a headliner kit for it. My question is....what do you guys put `behind` the headliner? If anything at all? Would it be a good idea to put in some sound/heat deadener material?

Thanks....

originally i think most of these cars had that old crappy fiber mat insulation? i used reflectix insulation on mine it's lightweight like bubblewrap with mylar between and on each side like 2 layers of bubblewrap with silver mylar in between and just spray glued it to the metal then installed the headliner. i used it on the floor and behind all the panels and doors tooWink

FatMat Rattletrap is a good product (similar to Dynamat) for insulating the ceiling above the headliner, and providing, well, a rattle trap.

By the way, I actually know Denmark. Been over there four times. My company has a site in Farum.
