Hi guys - was planning on tidying up some of the gunk and surface rust in the rear wheel arches and underneath, just to the back of the car.

Found these odd little rubber/plastic fittings screwed in behind each wheel, couldn’t work out what they are - thought they might have something to do with drainage from the boot but they don’t seem to attach to anything above? Just curious to see whether I can do without when I start sanding down the surrounding areas... thanks!

im guessing it's some kind of drain vent??? unless you're getting a lot of water in the trunk you shouldn't need them, and you shouldn't be getting water in the trunk if the metal is good and the seals are goodWink

Definitely drain hole covers for trunk/quarter (boot)    They are re-popped

bloody hell you guys are good... got them popped off but they are quite perished, I’ve been searching online for about half an hour using different combinations of ‘drain/plug/cover/trunk/quarter’ with no luck. Thanks so much!
