Hello all, my name is Ernie and I've been browsing this forum for several years now during my rebuild project of a 72 Gran Torino formal roof 2 dr. I acquired this car as a pile of parts mid-restoration and wasn't looking for another project. It was missing about half the parts to put it back together. Worse yet, it came from a deceased relative that had taken it all apart and knew everything about what was already done to the vehicle.  Now that my project is nearly complete, I need to get rid of my spare parts car and extra parts. I'm really not looking to make money on this stuff, just to give back to the Torino community that has helped me. I will post some pics in the WTS area as soon as I am able to.

Thanks!

Thanks all. Here's a pic. of the project. Normally I'm a purist when it comes to restoration of any sort, but in this case it seemed okay to do the resto-mod look to a formal roof car. She's got a 351C 2V under the hood that was rebuilt 10+ years ago and never started, so a little nervous about that. I'm in the Yorkville area of IL if anyone is interested in parts from the doner vehicle.

Ditto, that's really nice.

I like the color scheme, long long ago I was planning for black bumpers and the headlight buckets, with a plastic clear cover over the lights.
