Does anyone know what the small nylon plastic plugs in the mounting plate behind the buckets are called? And what they’re for?

Can they be bought new and from where?

Thanks

I used these on mine, they seem to fit fine and function like they should.  I got them either at Auto Zone or Advance Auto.  I believe they were Dorman brand but not positive.  These were originally posted by handsofstone so I think he used them too.

these part numbers might help a search,

the nylon push rivet might be the easiest way to get there

so after receiving a refund from Paypal apparently those pins have been discontinued...after a bit of searching on maverick forums they can be sourced from McMaster-Carr...

I used the black push-in pieces shown above without issue and they are readily available. Something to be concerned with is the pot metal that the spring hooks onto breaking. If it breaks, your light will be dangling by the plug while it flops around.

Here is what happened when the spring broke the pot metal. I believe I bent a small piece of flashing that slipped over the crack and cut a small groove in it to keep the tension to a minimum.
