Had to cutoff old flare nut on passenger side front brake line - needing to double flare the line now and add new nut. Anyone have a preferred brand nut to install? I've read some on threading issues with some made overseas - thanks for insight / words of wisdom

I'd go to NAPA or a similar hydraulic hose company for a line fitting. Those places are more likely to carry high quality fittings etc. If that's the brake line which the hose connects to on the frame, how bad is the line? Is it good enough to do a new flare and keep it? Nicopp brake line is very flexible and easy to shape to fit original routing. I used it to replace a LF line on my friend's 90 Lincoln, so it was really quick and easy for a short length. I would consider it a good choice for longer lines too, but I haven't done that yet.
