I know it's trivial, especially considering it's practically worthless in this car, but can someone tell me what their rear view mirror height is? Neither of mine have the mirror installed and I just got a new one and some adhesive. I was going to put it about 5" down from the top measured from the outside trim to the top of the mount, but just figured I would verify.

For a tall person, you want it as high as possible. But shorter driver's don't have to have it at a maximum height.

Thanks! Not sure where I fall there. I'm 5'10", but even my 5'4" wife thinks I sit with the seat way too far forward. I did come across this link as well that confirms that I was pretty close with my placement to what it generally is. I'm going to get it glued in tomorrow so I'll mark it all off and figure out whether I want to bump it up a little bit more.

High enough to just let the visor clear when you swing it away from the windshield.
