Hey gang,

My remote oil cooler adapter arrived today and was checking it against my block and it seems the adapter bolt threads into the block in the spot where the oil filter threaded nipple sticks out of the block. Is this nipple threaded into the block or will I have to have my block threaded for the bolt to screw into?

Thanks,

JOE

OK, tried to use two standard jam nuts to double nut and back the oil filter nipple out of the block but there is insufficient threads on the nipple to work. Any other suggestions on how to back the nipple out of the block without damaging the block or nipple?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I thought about that but I wasn't sure if that would work or if there was a trick to unthreading the nipple from the block.

I'll give that a try and many thanks!!
