I have an opportunity to purchase a 1969 Torino GT w/ 351 windsor? My son is turning 16, and I thought this would be a good car. My questions are, is 2500.00 a fair price? (No body damage, 80k miles, interior fair) and is this car considered a classic/collectable? |

I have that car. It's worthe atleast 2900 on up. It sounds as though it's in good shape. Easily restorable. While I am driving my 68 ugly primered fastback, my 69 is in my garage awaitin' a motor. I CANT believe how much attention I get with it. You dont see fastbacks around and alot of people dont even know what it is. Yes it is a rare car and I'm starting to see these cars restored around 16-20k. They also weigh less than a new 'stang unlike 70 and newer. Any questions you can E- me anytime. -David.
