My Rancheros
1972 Ranchero GT 351C 4 Speed Cobra Jet Q code. Painted July/Aug. 2010 with Rust-Oleum and 4 inch foam Roller. Rebuilt 351C 4bolt mains CJ block April 2010 with Close Chamber heads,Roller Rockers and Lunati 5203 VooDoo cam. Factory 4 speed Top Loader Transmission with Hurst Shifter, dual exhaust, Pertonics, Motorcraft 4100 Carburetor, 3.25 Trac-Lok rear axle. 1 of 782 1972 Ranchero GT 351 Cobra Jets with 4 speed built by Ford. 1972 Ranchero GT H code 351 Cleveland (Gift to my Son) Rebuilt 351 Cleveland with Edelbrock Performer intake, Comp Cam 268H, Summit Performance Carburetor. Rebuilt C-4 Transmission, duel exhaust with Summit performance mufflers,Pertronics ignition, 3.0 Rear axle ratio. 1972 Ranchero Squire H code(Currently a 400 under the hood) My current project 1973 Ranchero 500 351 Cleveland H Code. My first Ranchero 351 Cleveland Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 4160 Carburetor. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Pertronics ignition, 2.78 Rear axle Ratio 1973 Ranchero Squire 351 Cleveland Cobra Jet Q code. It looks like you have the monopoly of Ranchero,s or some fixation with them Kevin
One question is – what sort of horsepower are you getting out of the CJ 351 4speedy Ute with that valve-train ( roughly ish ) ? |

I have not had it dyno'd and according to the desk top dyno it shows over 400 but if I had to guess. I would say at least 350hp. Definitely more than stock numbers, way more.
