I got these goodies last month.

What do this

and this.

and this.

and this all have in common?

Yes, I cut the dash.. sue me.

Curse you non standard radio opening!

And I'm anti wood grain... so I found some engine turned vinyl that I liked..

There is. I am anti wood grain.. and I liked the engined turned pieces available on the later cars... but, with the radio, and the custom gauge panel, they wouldn't work.. so I tried this.

Very nice.  Moving in the same direction with my Ranchero. I am stuck on what to do about the radio and it looks like you have hit on it. Is that DIN box supplied with the Kenwood?

Yup..

What did you use for the driver side vent and your gauge cluster? Not sure if you saw mine, but, looks like we did exactly the same thing.

I like yours.. looks good.

Amazing how close we did that! Was really surprised to see it. I found that vent on one of the AC sites.  Maybe it was http://www.hotrodair.com/pg3a.cfm
Tried to match the appearance of the VDO gauge bezels.
Tell me more on the Kenwood installation.  Been waiting to figure out an audio solution before I finish the bottom part of the dash..

Basically the radio was what you see in the pics.

fill the top of the rectangle, pop in the din plate, etc.

What I really wanted to know is if the DIN box was  included with the Kenwood.
