I apologize for the confusion, I was adressing Pauls car with the hood comment.  I don't think the montego scoops look great on the 73-76 Torino's..

The 77-79's, though, start very skinny and the lines go to the corners of the hood.  The 73-76 is a much gentler line from a wider grill and ending 6" from the edges of the hood at the back which does fit the scoop you pictured.  Heck, I actually liked mine in the early 90's with the Boss 429 scoop except I really wanted to blend it into the hood instead of bolt-on..   Wonder what a 77-79 would look like with a shaker?

ok, that SHAKER needs to be bigger in order to look not so out of place on our HUGE LONG hoods!!

i agree the shaker is just too small on our cars.   It would look good if it was 2 maybe 3 times the size lol

Well maybe if he used the Torino scoop it might fit better, as the Torino scoop is longer than the Mustang.  Of course we all have different opinions so to each his own as Andy says! I have a 72 hood with scoop and will probably do that swap. Came off a 72 Formal roof car that I used for parts for my Sportsroof! Wink
