I came across this car by accident. I definitely wasn't looking for anymore projects, but damn, I couldn't refuse.

Check it out through this link on another forum.........

Seen that. It's really nice but I have one. What I do need is a good drivers door.

Doors from 72-76 will work not just 72-73. They never changed the doors

Did not know. I learn something new all the time. That's what's so fun about this hobby.

from the firewall back stayed the same on the 72-76 Torino.they changged the rear bumper in 74 and lowered it down to mount to the frame and added tailights and a fuel filler dorr where the bumper was located on 72-73 models but the body itself didn't really change. They most likely changed the rear body panel to have mounting holes for the taillights and fuel door but the quarters are the same.

72-73 Sport fastback was the only years for those and used a different package tray, roof and quarters but the rest of it is the same as the formal roof cars they just used different glass in the doors and quarter windows for the tappered roof and the Ranchero used different glass in the doors but doors are exactly the same and why the Ranchero GT uses the same Sport door panels as the GTS cars

Well I made the trip up to N.Y. today to pick up those doors. 3 1/2 hrs each way, Dead I can't thank you enough for the heads up Kevin. It's much appreciated!Thumbs Up
The drivers door is really nice and clean. The pass door had some dings and dents fixed so there is some bondo, but rust free none the less. Even got another set of sport mirrors too. Way too good to pass up for $200.Wink And he told me they were from California. I can believe it.
Now I just need little stuff to finish 'er off.
