what would cause the resin on the underside of the module completely melt away . it was liqiud enough too pool up on the frame rail . it's a 74 gran torino with 460 and duraspark ignition

I have had the same thing happen to me on two different Torinos. I have found out that the resin (factory box) would just break down from the engine bay heat. I would just go out and buy a new sparkbox if you have a detailed engine bay.
