Another valve cover question... Is it my imagination or did Ford make a stock sheet metal valve cover for the 351c that took the shape of the finned ones, ie, that  made it look like a flat top from side to side. Am I explaining that right?

the ends where the oil fill cap and vent tube might be what you're thinkin of, they're kinda bumped up & slabbed off

It must be me. Thanks for setting me straight. I thought they made ones with the "bumped and slabbed off" part all the way across.
