Today we unburied my dad's 51 Willys Wagon that has been in the garage since at least 1996. We are going to take it to our property in the country til I can get my Garage built. Most of the neighbors didn't even know that it was in the garage. It was alot of work but it was fun to see it out in the daylight again. Here are a few pics.
While we were doing this one of my dads buddies stopped by with his GTO.

While we were cleaning it off we found this 32 Ford grill shell and a 66 Mustang GT rear valance.
The passenger side front brake was locked up.

I like the vintage Winston packs. I do fully intend on decking my garage out in Winston goodies. NASCAR Winston Cup banners and pennants and signs and clocks and neon things. I'd still smoke Winstons but they dropped the soft pack. You can only get 'em in box now and the filter's too dang long. Thought that was funny, the soft pack had half the filter the box pack did.

I'll go ramble on...

I unloaded several empty 12 packs of Milwaukees Best Light. Or Blue Beast. My dad just puts stuff everywhere. Almost a hoarder.

I can appreciate that.

How about the Fairmont/Zephyr front aluminum bumper! That is a wicked wagon and would be cool with just a cleanup, dose of power and some nice rims. SWEET!!

Alex that Mustang rear valance should be worth something as it has the original exhaust cut outs and trim

We were bringing the Nissan Pickup home on the trailer to take it to a Scrap yard and a guy passed us with one. He asked what we were going to do with it and we sold it too him. I am glad that it went to someone who could use it. We dropped it off at his work on our way home. Funny how things work out. Now I have to load my Mustang up for the Nostalgia drags tomorrow.
