Can any one give me measurements on the location of the mounting holes for front bumper guards (1972). I just picked up a set off ebay and would like to mount them in the stock factory location.
Thanks
Harry

Harry,

I have my bumper off. With it turned up, looking at the bottom, both of the bumper guards have a tiny "center-line" cast into the bottom of the guards right in the middle of the guards. The distance from centerline to centerline is 21 and 1/4" Another reference puts them each 6" from the tag bolt holes, measured from the bolt hole to the side edge of the guards.

Hope that's not to confusing.  Sine these came on the car, it looks like the bumper has notches in it for the guards.

I'll get a picture if you need it.

Harry,

I had issues trying to get the pics on here, so you can see them at http://www.bristolbytes.com/toriono_Bumper.html

Hope this helps

Randy
