what type of tranny 1970ford custom

   ok ppl I am headed out to the farma again to look at this motor and tranny I have sitting out of a 70 ford custom 500 that I ripped apart 10 years ago I looked at it last week and noticed the automatic tranny is a one peice unit no split on the bell to the case so does anyone think this could be a c6  or was there another unit in 70 attached to these cars the motor is a 302 small block the intake code started with c8 so cast in 1968 I imagine it came in the 70 originally due to them making parts before they were put in the car sny ideas folks I am going back out with a diagram for tranny pans sunday but hope someone may know something I don't
