Have a 302 with reworked heads.Roller rockers and 1.96 valves.would I gain anything putting them on my 351 with the 4v intake would it even work.

you're talking 302 Windsor style heads on a 351W block?
you'd have to look at the chamber volume as to compression ratio gain, loss or same...
along with the piston and how far down in the bore it sits
valve size & shrouding as to improved flow, loss or same...
along with intake & exhaust port volume
the 351W block uses a wider intake manifold than the 302 but the bolt pattern & angles are the same. 351W is 9.5" deck and the 302 is 8.2" Edited by Rockatansky - 01-May-2012 at 7:27AM |
