Just pulled the cam out of my 302 wanted to know what type it was and the grind. Well the only thing I found was a c over d stamp c6 d6 d23 stamped on the cam and some id no. Anyone have and idea of the make ?

any reason to believe it's not factory Ford?
Cam Dynamics?
the id number would probably be the most important clue as to what it might be

Org. owner stated it was a 4 over stock cam?Anything under 1500rpm it idled like crap. I had nothing better to do so I took it out to see what it was.

crane cam ID it as a cam dynamics bought out by crane and called a energizer . Next pull the head and see if it was really 40 over.

well pulled the head. Its .030 over piston tops out at 3/32 or a little less from top of cylinder.Anybody know what that means in relation to comp.
