I began installing some new window belt line weatherstrip (fuzzies) I purchased from Dearborn Classics. They are about 1/4" off, leaving a gap at the front door seal to beltline. I have heard of this before from someone else (many years ago). What can I do about this? Order a set from AutoKrafters? Also, the Latch Pillar Seal at the quarter window above the front door latch post, is eaten away. Dearborn does not seem to sell those (only up through 1971). I could not find the original Ford part number, although I found the illustration in the Master Parts under Section 290 Page 8. Anyone know where to get these?

tape up the door, pour some canola oil on the glass, and fill the gap. ;-) |

I might just have to do that. I was thinking of ordering a new set from Steele Rubber. They seem to stock them. It would be interesting (although expensive) to see what I get.

I really wasn't joking. I did it on my daily driver, it worked fine.
