According to the door label, it is a Squire. Maybe the wood was removed professionally like Joe's. Maybe the Brougham panels are from another car.

Squire Brougham package was a $189 option according to my '75 Edmunds New Car Prices book.

This is one odd car. First, it is a '75 model with a code 71K (Squire wagon). However, that code was for a '74 and '76, but not '75. Vin says it is a '75. Interior is a GZ (Saddle split vinyl - not leather) available on Grans and Squires, but not base models unless very special ordered. No radio and luggage rack, but power accessories. Obvious overspray inside the rear fenderwells. Paint code is 9D (Polar white), trans is a C4, axle is a 3.00 open. Delivered into Phoenix AZ. My guess is that it has been repainted in the past, woodgrain removed, and I'm unsure of the odd body code.
Could it be that Ford built an oddity for that certain person? Possible, not not probable. |

It is odd that the carpet doesn't look faded.

On my '75 GTS, the carpet is great and unfaded, but the door carpet is a similar faded greenish-tinted color from fade. It is also in the brown family. Faulty dye on the panels? Clean wagon, but $7K seems excessive.

This didn't meet reserve the first time at $4,000 of bids, then came up again and didn't sell again for $3050. Didn't meet reserve, of course. BIN was $7500. I could get excited about this wagon for $1500-$2000, and I would try my best to make it happen, but right now I'm focused on that red sedan in Denver, and maybe Ilyes would like to buy the white one from me. Then again he's a 72-73 kind of guy but this would give him something to play with and give me an excuse to get up to New Jersey to get my Cutlass Ciera to bring home.
