I wouldn't pay $7500 for that, and I'm skeptical about the lower quarters. Other than that it looks good.

Yes, as all of us with wagons know, the 1/4 panels in our cars are made of tinfoil. Primer equals bondo, LOL.
Nice looking wagon, otherwise. Good candidate for a great cruiser, but $7,500 is pretty steep. I paid $3,500 for mine and thought it was high. |

I wish mine had that much documentation! All I have is an old license plate.

That car has dealer or aftermarket A/C on it. Really pretty car, but has more rust than is being advertised. Wonder what the reserve is?

I noticed that too because it doesn't have the box on the firewall. Dealer add-on maybe???

I'll bet it was aftermarket by the dash controls being non-A/C and the compressor mounting. JC Whitney? Dual climate controls were not available back then on a Torino (unless you had the heat on and windows down, LOL).

LOL!!!! I remember those days...we would drive from Indiana to Mexico for our Summer vacations with NO A/C, so can imagine!!!
The back of our legs would just melt into the vinyl seats!!!
Now when I tell my kids those stories, they think I am just exaggerating like I thought my parents did when they told their horror stories! LOL!!!!!

I remember doing that in the wagon. It was a colder day after some heavy rain the day before. We drove through a puddle and water splashed inside the car. If you were sitting in the middle, it wasn't a pleasant time

Growing up, we didn't have a surplus of cash, so the first wagon my Mom and Dad had as a non-company car was a 2 door plymouth wagon from the 50's. No floorpans except where the seats bolted to the floor, and the driveshaft hump. She would always tell us to prop our feet up on the hump so that we didn't get sucked out of the car. No seatbelts back then, so my sister and I would sit in the middle and stretch out over the hump. Our next wagon, a '59 Impala was not a lot better, but was way more cool, and faster. Our family always liked speed...

Some rust issues, yes, but very nice indeed. On a side note. There seems to be a lot of Torinos/Rancheros in Washington state, maybe it's just me.
