some of you guys saw my ranchero MX at the forge show in Tenn. a couple of years back I have made and i am working on some updates for the truck. the first is I installed a 3 spoke rimblow steering wheel that really sets off the interior very nicley. Next this is a rare razorback style topper was given to me. This thing was pretty close to junk but I am working on some mods and hopfully will have that ready for spring install. Here is a photo of before and after of the wheel install and I will post the links to the ranchero usa site where i post all my prorgess on these projects. Take care and enjoy Dan the ranchero man. http://www.ranchero.us/forums/showthread.php?t=11391 and http://www.ranchero.us/forums/showthread.php?t=32878 Before

Works fine. The wires hook right up to where the old two spoke wheel horn hooked up. :)

Try the guys I used much better price and great work https://www.therimblowbuddy.com/contact-form.php They have a special going until the end of the month restore your wheel for $475 INCLUDES Horn Switch! The $700-$1000 for a steering wheel is just plain highway robbery in my opinon. There is a guy that I see at the coumbus, OH swap that is asking $650-$950 for a complete restored wheel and I think that is a bit much.

I'd be happy to by one ready to bolt on for 600. Mr.Rimblowbuddy is advertising them for 1075. 475 sounds good but i don't have a core to send him. There is one on Ebay for 300 that has to be redone so that would put me at 775 . That's the cheapest way so far.

I had bought a core (complete with center pad) for $55. The wheel was decent and as expected the switch was shot. So I am into this for just a hair over $500 and I am OK with that. I had half the cash and the wife gave me the rest for Christmas. So I figured I would go for it! I was not even planning on doing until I made some other upgrades on both of the rancheros. But the time was right for this one. As we can all see the prices are crazy (Carl, I agree for the big money they should throw in a free Floor shift tilt column!)

It looks great Dan!! Wonder where you got that cheap core from????????
I just found the paperwork for mine and it was just over $400 with the shipping. It is crazy they go for wayy higher then that but when you have the crazy Mustang crowd that will pay these kind of prices........................

I own a 74 and the 79 (looks like a 73 Montego). I don't own any 70-71 rancheros or parts.
