Hi guys!
I'm getting a steady, heavy drip under the passenger side dash in heavy rain. (Unfortunately, the car is out in the rain for the first time since I bought it. ) The drip is almost at the dash/door edge, and I can't see where it's coming from. Anybody else dealt with this problem?

Oh boy. As my car is all together, is there any way I can get up under the dash to see the extent of the damage, or does it need to come apart?

if you have remote mirrors check were the cable comes through the kick panel area my 77 tbird and my 74 gran torino both did it because the sheathing cracked and let water run down inside and dripped to the floor

Water leaks sucks. I think you need to start with looking between the door and the firewall for loose wire boots or plugs like Starskytorino suggested. If you don't see anything obvious then you'll need to remove the dash top, the lower kick panel and the a-pillar garnish molding and water test it. if you still can't find where the leak is coming from you'll need to take more stuff out until you can find the source. Finding the source could take 10 minutes or 10 hours. Could be the windshield or any of the things that go thru the fire wall and worse case it could be rust.

yeah hopefully it is something simple that can be fixed w/o taking 3/4 of the car apart
I found a rotted windshield seal while taking mine out, the adhesive/sealant was loose from the metal in at least one area
