Just wanted to pass on a tidbit of info. I recently installed a set of Hedman Hedders in my 72 with a 351c 2v and FMX automatic and column shift. The Hedman site has a footnote that these are only for a C4 installation, but I had no problems with fit. These were plain standard full length headers that sell for $199 bucks at Summit including free US shipping. I don't have the part number right now but it's easy enough to identify them in the catalog.

The rest of the system has 40 series Flowmasters with crossover pipe and 2.25 tailpipes all the way out the back (it's a wagon) with shotgun tips. When you honk on it it sounds wicked as hell and scares the crap out of anyone riding along.
