Sorry if this has been answered before but I can't find it if it has. I am trying to remove the front fenders from my '73 gran torino sport. I have removed what I believe to be all bolts but it won't budge. Am I missing something? Are there bolts inside the door jam? Does the wheel well have to be removed? Thanks in advanced.

There are 3 bolts under the rocker panel that attach the lower portion behind the whee. 2 bolts by the windshield. Then there are 4 (I think) bolts at the top inside of the wheel well (2 at the body and 2 into the fender brace), and then the bolts along the lip of the wheel well.
Then there are my personal favorites. 3, kind of hard to get to, bolts that attach the front of the fender to the front fascia (part with the headlights). And lastly, there is a bolt connecting to a bracket at the bottom front of the fender. Be careful on the front fascia bolts. The front seems to just be cast pot-metal and if you tug and break anything, getting the front of the fender to sit tight to the fascia isn't going to happen.
So, yeah. If its not moving, there's a bolt there. |

I absolutely despise the fascia bolts. C does all mine since her hands are tiny.

Yeah, they are hard to get to. You will need a socket with a longish extension. My problem is I couldn't tell what size they were. I think 7/16th. Not standard 1/2 or 9/16th.
