G'day All Just a quick enquiry regarding what to look for in relation to the correct engine for vehicle. Im looking at buying a 1968 Formal roof Gt Torino with claimed S code 390 here in Aussie and need to know where to look for the engine code, cylinder head casting numbers and how to decipher without tearing down the Donk. I know that the regular members here would have been asked this question a thousand times so apoligies in advance for being a pest but I do want to make sure Im buying the genuine thing. Cheers Wayne |

Hey
K not sure how big an answer you want but if you still need info Try getting your hands on a little booklet called.Ford High Performance Parts Identifier. author Robert m Winkelman and distributed by sunset mustang. I have 2 (1 for backup) super handy hope you can find one don't let that hardtop get away sounds like a good find |
