Are the floor pans different on the bench seat cars and the bucket seat ones

No the floorpans will be the same. Like the 72-76 montegos to do a swap on your 70-71 you will just need the seats and the floor attaching hardware for the seat mounts on the inside (close to trans hump). The reliefs for the clips should be in the floor you will just need to mount the clips and go! You may also want to look into the correct seatbelts for buckets. If you are removing from a donor car take everything!

the 70-71's take a special seat riser for one of the rear bolt locations. i used a 2x4 chunk as a kid, but for concours guys, you will need the high dollar spacer
