I think I am wanting to add some headers to my 76 Ranchero. What has everyone been using? Hookers 6125HKR are the only ones that keep popping up....

I used Hooker Super Comp 6125s on my 400.  They are the only ones that will fit a 351M or 400 that are still in production.  The right side fits like a glove, very easy to get in.  The left side is tight.  I lifted the engine and also had to clearance a bit around the steering box to get it in.

I "think" Sanderson shorties might work too, but didn't have the guts to try them out.

I had hoped to get headers once I swap my C6 out for a stick. It is probably a pipe dream at this point.

I actually just went down that rabbit hole of a manual swap on my car.  Would love a TKX, but it would be a ton of cash.  Have to swap to hydroboost, expensive Big Block Bell housing, expensive hydro clutch which would require a bunch of fab work.  I want an OD trans someday, but I think a Gear Vendors is the most viable option...I'd just rather row my own gears.

I believe Rick went with a gear vendors OD on his car. If I can't get the complete bell/clutch setup for the 400, I may just build the CJ in the parts car. Time($) will tell.
