I'll have to cross reference them over to the PST stuff, but that shouldn't be a problem. I like the idea of the graphite in there to help stop the squeaks.

they have a grease for them poly bushings! IIRC the PST poly bushing are really hard, i've seen other off brands of hard poly crack and split Shocked never any issues with energy suspension or prothane!!!

Part numbers, sizes quantity and supplier is listed at the beginning of the thread so it should be pretty easy to figure out....

Hi,

i am looking to change the bushings for my rear sway bar as well, but before i order the
98141G and 98101G, i am looking for the other set of bushing, those that bolts on the rear axle, but can't find an exact replacement ?? anyone have come up with a bolt-on energy suspension part # ?
I have a stock rear sway bar. Btw, nice write-up  and thnx for those part numbers!!!

i went with prothane for those bushings because they fit the bar and mounts better these fit the early rear swaybar mounts (some of the later cars have wide mounting bolts)

prothane # 19-1116 BL

Hi, thank you for this! I have a 1975 , guess this means it's the later model? (the wider one?) Ill see on the prothane site if they give the specs and then take measure on mine to see if it will fit!

look at the mounts on the axle... mine are a flat strap style the later ones i've seen are like a u-bolt style similar to a muffler clamp?
but the bar measures 17mm! they refer to it as 5/8" but thats too loose Wink

I haven't even crawled under to look at the rear sway bar setup on my cars lol  There are 3 sets of bushins involved in the factory setup??!!  Thats crazy, my 73-77 gm a bodies rear sway bar bolted right to the lower control arm, no bushins at all. Wonder which one is the better design?

Honestly I think the GM bars were more effective. They were directly acted on by the control arms. Causing them to twist and do their thing. Ours aren't as positive of a mount to the control arms leaving some slop in the system.
