Hello!
I'm the proud new owner of a '69 Torino GT Fastback with a 351/4 speed. I've got some extra parts and am looking for some parts, so that's why I'm here! I hope to learn a lot and be driving the Torino soon!

Welcome to the best forum that there is on loo ur cars. The folks (me sometimes) here are nothing but helpful.
Sounds like a nice rude. When you get upgraded please post some pics. Troy Lemming may habe some parts but I am not sure. There are some extremely knowledgeable and talented people here and I have remembered quite a bit of what was lost over the last three decades since I joined. Without the help I would still be looking for a car or staring at one with my thumb you know where.

Thank you Dave, I do have a few questions. It's a 351/4 speed car but there is no center console. Did they have a center console or just a shifter boot? It has a red interior and I need door panels. I've purchased new carpet and headliner for it, will be painting it this winter, and I hope to have it on the road next year.

I might have a door interior yet, but I’m not sure. As far as console.... as far as I recall, the center console was found with automatic floor shift, I have seen some with stick shift. I have seen none with column shift. The center console was not in cars with a bench seat. Last, the center console (iirc) was shared by 1968-1971 models.
They are quite pricey if you even come across one.....

I too have a '69 351w, so happy to help if I can. The console was a $53.82 option for bucket seat cars in '69. Bucket seats were a $120.59 option. Console could be had with floor and even column shift. The column shift filler plates are super hard to find and the 4 speed plates are very pricy for a good one. Mine is the more common floor auto (smaller opening).
