I picked up a 69 Torino fastback from Tennessee in April for 1250$. It was last plated in 1994, off the road for as long as it was on the road. It was a 351w 2 barrel auto 300 rear gears. I have a 76 460 c6 that will go in after all the rust repair is done or close. Have all new front suspension, rubber ect ready. Doing floor pans now, hard part is above the windshield and rear tail panel, but its going good so far. Not many 68 or 69s on here I see.

welcome! start a project thread we'd love to see pics and it could be helpful for other first gen guys
if you have a lot of repair to do to that molding lip by the windshield you may want to look into buying a set of shrinker/ stretchers from eastwood they work great for curves on stuff like that! |

Welcome aboard!! We don't have a huge number of 68 and 69s but its slowly growing. All
Torinos are welcome here. Sounds like you got a pretty good project. I agree with John, start a project thread. A 460 in a 69 Torino fastback would move out nicely.
Post some pics, we love pics here. |
