Hello.  My name is Mike and I'm the proud owner of a 1971 Torino GT.  I'm currently working out a few kinks and will be surely asking questions in the near future.  Thanks in advance!

Hey Mike,
Welcome. Do they still have a car night at the strip mall across from Gambino's on Transit?

Hmmmm...not sure about Gambino's but they have an excellent drive night at Pautler's Drive-In on Transit in East Amherst. Usually about 100+cars evvery Tuesday.  I'll check on Gambino's....

About 6 years ago, I was up there on a combination business/personal trip. My friend was working for GM and lived in Lock Port. He gave me the $.10 tour. Nice area to just cruise around on a summer day.

Welcome aboard Mike! Sorry for the delay upgrading you, but I have been very busy lately. You have now been upgraded to a new member, and have full privileges on the Forum.

You can now post pictures and there is a tutorial on how to post pics if you need help.  Please show us your 71 Torino, we'd all love to see the car!

Love the car!
Also like the concrete driveways.
For some reason, Rochester area has all blacktop driveways. Go west to Buffalo or the falls, concrete.

Nice ride brother! Welcome from a fellow new member as well as a  fellow prisoner of the dumpster fire that is the corrupt state of NY! What's that bad ride packing under the hood?
I'll take a classic car over modern junk any day.

Not a lot of HP.....351-2V. Still fun, though. Come spring, I'm hoping to upgrade to 4V and dual exhast with headers.   I'll be asking for some opinions at that point.....
