   Currently I am in the middle of a body-off restification of my 72 Ranchero.  I have owned this car since 1973, it was my first car.  I bought it from my dad, who bought it new.  It was originally a 250 6 cylinder 3-on-the-tree.  It’s going to go back together with a 351C running CHI 3V heads, a mass air multi- port EFI fuel system and a 4R75W. 

   The car has been apart for longer than I want to admit, but it’s been making pretty good progress since I semi-retired 3 years ago.  We are just finishing the bodywork up this week and it goes to paint in a couple of weeks.  I don’t know who’s happier about that, my wife or me. 

   I was a Field Service Engineer for Ford for 35 years when I retired 3 years ago.  I worked with dealers in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa during my years at Ford.  That, along with multiple week-long trips to Dearborn every year, involved a lot of travel.  That’s the excuse I have for this thing being apart as long as it’s been.  I’ll try to post a couple of pictures soon.
