Hi Everyone!  My son just bought his first car and started with a bang with a 76 Ford Elite.  It will be a bit of a family project with him doing most of the work and my hubby and I advising, sourcing, and financing Smile  Our first hurdle is finding/having made the left door glass and quarter.  I can't wait to dig in and am looking forward to learning from all of you!

I would start by calling a few junkyards and seeing what they have, there were cars with similar window designs that may work. I would assume finding a window from a different car would be far less expensive compared to having one custom made!

Thanks. We called around, nothing local of course, have a window coming from Youngstown, OH from a salvage and the member in the above reply has the quarter glass, so fingers crossed it will all fit :) We’ll update you with progress as we go :)

Formal roof 2 door 72-76 Torino, Montego or 74-76 cougar glass should be identical.

The car looks great and it should be a good project.  Start a project thread so we can follow along.  I don't think we have an Elite project thread anymore (NorthElite has an awesome Elite restoration in the project thread section).
