Working with the dashboard. Lots of work with it, but not much pictures yet. I Add new veneer to cluster panel and cut new sheet metal plates. One to AC and other one hide destroyed radio hole. Veneer is real Burr walnut wood from Ireland Smile

Not much news, but Hot-dip galvanized rear bumper reinforcement is home now.
This part was almost end of life, but now it works for ever Smile

I have seen some interesting bumper modifications here, but I go with original bumpers.

Nothing wrong with the original stock look! Some don't like it because it sticks out from the body so far (and it does!), but it's not horrible to me.

Most work with dashboard is done. Some extra chrome trims and Elite emblem.
No Radio, but Carroll Shelby signature give some extra feeling. Well, I add some cables to clove box if I like to install music player later Wink

Cleaning up engine wires. I have original wire diagrams, but I'm going to make some simple modifications. I try to do harness simple as possible. One-wire alternator and new distributor need less wires than original setup. Well, it don't look like simple right now LOL

Ordered new coolant hoses and when they arrived I can try to start my engine after long time. Right now I'm working with my last rusted parts.

The door is open LOL

Parts are waiting for soda and sandblasting. Tongue

Door frames are surprising good. Driver side was better than passenger side.

I have rebuild passenger door frame some time ago. Some new metal to low end, but not real too much work. Door skins were rusted bad from the top. I was extremely lucky and found NOS door skins Smile

I haven't installed headliner before, but I looked few youtube videos and just put it on Big smile

I didn't marked bows when I remove old headliner, but bows goes shortest to longest, front to rear.

I start install it from rear and install only rear window upper corner first. Continued next day with rest of the headliner.

I also used Mustang style hooks with rear end bow. Well I didn't have originals, but I made something like it. Roof frame corner was two holes what you can use with hooks.

I don't remember was there originally some, but my new hooks help me to keep rear line at correct place.
