Does anyone have pictures or a diagram of the parking brake cable mounting locations for an Elite? I have the cables on the car, but they are floppy. I feel like there may be mounting brackets missing or similar. Any help welcome on this, as I need to get it working as my driveway slopes!
Thanks,
Iain.

I can try and get you one in a day or two when I have some time to search and scan the image (unless someone else posts something first).  If you have a factory service manual, I think it might be in there.  If you don't have the factory service manual, I'd recommend purchasing one.

Thanks for that. No rush if you can find anything. All I have is the Haynes manual, which is a bit useless for some things - especially this!
Factory manuals always the best I've found previously.

I wound the most obvious adjustment nut I could find, which seems to have improved matters. Will give it some more though.

Is one press of the foot lever usually correct, or one and a bit?
Don't know what is normal, as am used to hand operated cars.
Thanks,
Iain.

if it's holding tight and about only half way to the floor you're good

Sorry for the delay.  See the diagrams in this post here:

I hope that helps.

Thanks for that, I had seen the earlier diagram somewhere before, but not the later one below it.

I gave it a good adjustment which has improved it. Still room for more but don't want it to be binding while moving. Need to jack it up to do it really.
