I think I know the answer, but does anyone have the secret formula that grandpa used to get this wonderful stuff off of skin once it dries? I know acetone will mostly remove it when wet and semi-dried...and skin exfoliation...over a couple of weeks is the other method. I am about as fair skinned as it gets and it looks really bad.My painters coverall sprung some leaks and I'm wearing quite a bit of it and my wife thinks I need to call the manufacturer.
Thanks
ps - I saw on another forum that Pam cooking spray works - did not on me |

Try something mild first before the serious stuff. How about engine degreaser, those are all mild compared to carb cleaner etc. I use that on parts sometimes when the grease is really bad and I need to use carb cleaner. Together those do better on parts than blasting a ton of carb cleaner and using more than one can. For a tough finish material like POR 15, it's going to take both time and agitation at the edge of the skin and material. You are not going to dissolve it from the skin, the chemicals that could do that would be soaking on the skin as well.

You really don't want to put any chemicals that would dissolve POR 15 on your skin. Vegetable oil and attrition are about it.

Here I have used " Simply Awesome " to remove everything from paint on my skin to bugs off my car grill. Sold almost exclusively at Dollar Tree stores. Found it first in the USA.

If you are doing more, Baby oil/Sunscreen will help keep it from sticking in the first place. (Doesn't mean you have to turn yourself into a greased pig, a little does the job.)
