Subject: new body parts source?

Hey guys,
Does anyone know of a company that makes new body parts for our cars? I'm trying to find a front drivers fender, and a few other front end parts for my 72 gt. I also have to find someone who can repair some of the aluminum trim as some of it is dented in.

Thanks,
Andy

Nice, thanks guys, I will definitely do that for all the trim. How bout fenders? Does anyone make those new? I'm looking for a front drivers side, and the small piece that's right in front of the fender between it and the bumper.

That thread about using Lee Scott is great. Thanks for the link to it.

The front body parts are rare but you seem to be in the good area to find solid fenders etc.

That corner piece in front of the fender is pot metal, I saved(swapped) it from my old 72 GT on my Ranchero. That and a few interior pieces have been to Rome/Pisa/Venice etc, from trips we took while living in Germany. Good memories those were.

You can find the front drivers side fender and the front end parts from someone who is parting out a parts car like yours.
I do not know of anyone that reproduces these parts brand new. You can sometimes find these parts for sale that have already been restored, or you can find good used original parts.

recently typed in a search for a 73 - 75 Buick mid size door, and was amazed at the amount of hits it generated from yards.

Sweet!! Found a guy about 1 hr away from me with some ranchy parts. I went over there, and he had a 72 that he was parting out. I got both front fenders in great condition, and even primered on the back with only very minor surface rust on the front, 2 head light bucket, a grille, and a header panel for 200 bucks. Turns out the dude owns a hot rod shop. He had a bunch of projects in th works. He gave me a ton of ideas for my car like a cheap way for a rear disc conversion, wiring tips, etc super cool guy. If anyone in so cal needs a hand with their project, they can call rod @ "the garage" in covina. He hooked me up so I figured id give him a shout out.

I was also able to score this

To solve my gauge conundrum. Ill install this cluster, then probably add 2 pillar gauges, one for oil pressure, and one for n2o if I go that route.
