according to sumett this is the highest cam for a stock 9.1 or higher 302 with stock converter. Also rec 3.5 or higher gears? I was running 2.75 with aod.?Going to 3.23 from Joe.

With my Crown Vics (80s square panthers), I was MUCH happier with 3.55 rear gears and the AOD than the factory 2.73. Swapped in a 3.27 axle out of necessity which wasn't quite as much fun, but still WAY better than factory.
