I was under the car today to fit up the down pipes and I ran into what might be a problem. With the donuts I got at NAPA there doesn't seem to be enough stud left to thread the nuts on.
Judging by the flare on the manifold and matching flare on the pipe it looks the donut should be conical but the ones they gave me are beveled on both ends. They fit the pipe well enough but don't match the contour of the manifold at all.
Anyone got a part number or better yet a picture one?

They do list them on websites but now that you mention it............  I'm just not sure how they'd seal though.

if the end of the manifold has a outer beveled edge and the pipe matches that they don't use donuts! if the manifold has an inward facing bevel then it takes a donut

I appreciate the info greatly gentleman. I've been trying to get these little things cleared up in hopes of firing the engine before the end of the month. I haven't heard the car run since I tore it down in '05-'06.
I got bored tonight so I drove over and set the carb on it so I could start plumbing the fuel line.
