We got this cool old F250 Camper Special yesterday. Very early '67 model. 100 percent complete, even has the small access door for the passenger side access panel, lights and grill parts. Grill was originally steel, and the 2nd owner ordered an aluminum one for it. Paint color change in the late '67 because the original owner wanted this factory color blue but it was not available when he special-ordered the truck, so he took red and then painted it. Red paint is still shiny under what is left of the blue (what has not patina'd). Super solid, super straight. All original panels. CA truck, brought here 3 years ago. Some neat factory stuff like radio delete, roof light delete, arm rest delete, heater delete. Someone installed a Mark IV Ford unit in the past that was given to us with the truck. Piece of cool old Ford history that shows how sturdy the early F250 could be.

very solid, hard to find one anywhere but a desert region where every seam on the truck isn't rusted away.

Best original factory body seams I have seen on one of these and the body lines are straight and spot on. We filled the bowls with gas, spun it over 3 revolutions and fired off. Went into gear nice and solidly. It has 16.5 wheels on it, but would like to find some 16's for better tire availability. Dual tanks and the factory tank lever inside works fine. I really like this one.

Nice! Sold my 67 F250 Camper Special 2 years ago. Had 300 Six and 4 speed. Mine had 82 k original miles. Interior was mint. Took the 16.5 tires/rims off and put 16" on. Too much trouble finding decent tires for 16.5" Aluminum grille didn't have one dent in it too!

Love the look of that. Definitely clear it, thats some sweet one of a kind paint job. back story with it is pretty cool to. Whats your plan for the truck?
A few months ago I had a chance to buy a 78 F250 camper special all original for 500.00. I was hoping to just be able to give it some TLC and turn it in to a fun daily driver till I could do a diesel swap with a 7.3 IDI engine I have. But the there was just too much rust going on everywhere for me to want to put the energy to just getting it to daily driver point. Some day ill find a fair priced old truck hopefully a crew cab.
Got any 70's crew cabs hiding out down there Joe?

Hey Kevin, wish we did.
This truck is complete so we are going to get it running again, clear it, install some new tires and get it ready to sell. My buddy and I fell in love with this truck, so we made a pact that neither could buy the other out and the only way to not have regret would be to sell it.
Yesterday, he found a '70 F350 step side LWB single wheel that is complete, less engine and transmission. He bought it, and the patina on it is just incredible. I'm going to clear it for him and we'll install either a 460 or a 4BT in it. He will drive the snot out of it then. Factory automatic truck that used to be the delivery truck for a mill and mine company here locally. They are still in business, so it will be neat to drive it by and show them when it's done. I'm as excited about him getting the truck as he is.

We are picking it up early next week, so no pictures yet. The guy he got it from has a gold mine of things on his farm - Cobra II, 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen Mustangs, F100's, 250's, 350's, construction equipment, trailers, farm equipment, Dodges, '50's Pontiacs and Olds and so on. It would not surprise me in the least if we didn't leave with other stuff. Everywhere you look, there is something either in the weeds, under a tarp, in a barn or just in plain sight.
