Hi Guys, I do not know if it's 2 wire or 3 wire, I have a empty circle area on the right side of my dash just above the radio. Does anyone have a tach or know someone who could? Thanks.

if you are looking to put a tach where the clock would go, easiest mounting is to get a clock and gut it for it's housing.

Ok so you have a standard cluster? And you want to put a tach in the clock delete hole? I was assuming you needed a sport tach.....

Yes, I have a standard cluster with the option for either a clock or Tach. Do you where they sell a 76 Gran Torino RPM Tach Stock Gauge? I want to put one in where there is an empty cluster on the right. The one I'm looking for has a silver middle part with a black back, white numbers, and a red needle.

I agree with Randy.  If you just want to add a tach to your current dash, get a three wire setup and it'd be easy to add without changing your entire cluster wiring like you'd have to for a sport cluster.  Three wire tach just needs 12 volts and a signal from the negative on the coil.  Easy setup.

And the only way to get the tach was with the sport cluster.

If you're interested, I have a tach for a standard dash that a previous owner added in to where the electric clock originally was. It's actually a really good match to the rest of the dash. I am converting my car to a sport cluster, so I'd sell it to you if you want a tach :)

Hi californiajohnny,

Is this for a 1976 gran torino sport? Is these pieces for the passenger side of the car? Please let me know as I'm interested. Sorry for the late response. Thanks!
