Has probably been asked before but does anyone have suggestion on mud flaps for our cars. When mine was painted last yr the chrome ones were tossed .Any idea on size etc. would help.

If you do find some, please share.  I have them on my car, but they were installed by the dealer in 1972.  I wouldn't mind updating them at some point.  They really save the paint if you drive your car.

You're probably gonna have to find some vintage mud flaps.  Your best bet is ebay.  Just search for "vintage mud flaps".  Hopefully they'll provide dimensions, then maybe you can make some cardboard templates to see how they'll work before you pull the trigger.  Here's an example I found doing a quick search.

There were lots of them to choose from.

there's the ones you want, picked myself a set up a couple weeks ago, just have to put them on. check all his auctions, he has the same flaps at different prices, so get the cheapest available.

I think they look the best on our cars, not too big and just big enough to protect the areas behind the wheels. Not sure what the designers had in mind with those curved in lower body lines? Its like a sandblaster to the paint
